1 year of this…it’s our anniversary! Of course it’s finally time to reveal our cast for the long awaited Golden Girls Re-Boot. Casey Williams just watched the original Golden Girls Series Finale back to back with the pilot. The breakdown is enlightening and confusing at the same time. Steve Ausburne says that binge watching is a younger man’s game. While we’re at it, we go ahead and spoil the end of Lost and The Sopranos too. So don’t listen to this if you’re reading this 10 years ago. Whiskey tasting time! 1972 Alexander Murray & Company Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is on the menu this evening. We have no idea what Brexit is about. Anyone who’s every bleached their jeans needs to hear this. Steve explains why Middleschoolers suck. We reveal our plan to get Pro Wings to $120 per pair. Suddenly we need to figure out which jersey Cameron was wearing in Ferris Bueler’s Day Off. Casey thinks it was the Chicago Blackhawks. Stevethinks it was the Redwings. You are reading this online, so you should probably know what the correct answer is by now.

“Cheers!”

Episode from the crypt! We missed you too. This one was recorded in March, we held it back because it gets a little zany, but you love that, right? We open up the show with the Diffrern’t Strokes theme song and the most commonly sung wrong lyrics. Any guesses? What podcasts do we listen to? Well, we will tell you. Steve Ausburne inexplicably brings up Up All Night on USA. (yes, I said “up” twice) We discuss plans for the Regale Beagle Sports Bar. Three’s Company Movie is coming with Zac Efron and Seth Rogan...Ice Cube as Mr. Furley.  Another timely movie review of 1992’s Stay Tuned – John Ritter, Pam Dobber and Jeffrey Jones. The shows on this movie reads like an @midnight hashtag war. Casey Williams gets us back on track with whiskey tasting time! Sonoma Brothers Distilling Bourbon Whiskey is on the menu. We school you (and ourselves on) aging rules on Bourbon vs Straight Bourbon. Runts candy suffered from the economic collapse of 2008. There’s an even deeper secret menu at In n Out. Why making whiskey is like making a Marvel movie. Does Lethal Weapon Hold Up? Here comes John Wayne out of nowhere! Clint Eastwood is jealous of all the attention. The big So Your Friends Think Your Funny comedy competition is broken down…yes it was 5 months ago…MARCH remember?

“Do ya feel lucky, punk?” (That’s not what he said)

Casey Williams thinks that Bobby was really all alone in the house the entire time. Everyone thinks the Peanuts are over-rated. The Creepy Six Flags Guy still frightens us. Ben brings us a solid quote about the beer industry. “You’ll never be rich, but your cup of life will be full.” Speaking of beer, they brought by some Goose Island 2013 which was amazing. Special Guest Streak Continues! Comedians Steve Ausburne and Casey Williams sit down with Crispin Cain of American Craft Whiskey Distillery, Greenway Distillers, and Tamar Distillery. We taste nearly everything in the place that has Low Gap Whiskey on the label in a gorgeous Redwood Valley setting. We had the Bourbon, we had the Malted Rye, we had the blend, we had the 100 Proof Wheat, we had the Clear Rye, and we barely remember what happened next. We first met Crispin and his lovely wife Tamar at Winesong in Fort Bragg. You have to go to this event if you haven’t been! Crispin is another protégée from Hubert Germain-Robin which means he knows his stuff. We dive deep into the distillation process. Crispin answers questions about the regulations on clear whiskey as well as what exactly is Celsius? Crispin is an Odd Fellow…literally. He tells us about the first whiskey he ever made from a Red Tail Ail Mash. We talk about the recent Craft Spirit Boom his famous Rose Liqueur (even when that word is spelled right, it looks like it’s spelled wrong) and last but not least we get into some of his amazing Absinthe and things get weird.
